5. Changes to Bookings

Changes to passenger numbers, pickup locations, or tour itineraries may be accommodated where possible but cannot be guaranteed. Additional charges may apply.

6. Final Passenger Numbers

For all private group bookings, final passenger numbers must be confirmed no later than 14 days prior to the tour departure date.

Charges will be based on the final confirmed passenger numbers provided at this time. Any reductions in passenger numbers within 14 days of departure will remain payable in full and are not eligible for a refund.

Increases in passenger numbers after the final confirmation date will be accommodated where possible but cannot be guaranteed and are subject to availability.

7. Minimum Numbers

Certain tours may require minimum passenger numbers to operate. If a tour cannot proceed due to insufficient numbers, passengers will be offered an alternative date, an alternative tour, or a full refund.

8. Tour Itineraries

Boutique Wine Tours Tasmania reserves the right to alter routes, venues, timings, or itineraries due to weather conditions, venue availability, road closures, safety concerns, or other circumstances beyond our control.

9. Alcohol Consumption

  • Intoxicated or disorderly passengers may be refused service or removed from the tour without refund.
  • Alcohol consumption is permitted only where allowed by law and approved by the operator.
  • Passengers are responsible for consuming alcohol responsibly throughout the tour.

No refund will be provided to any passenger refused service or removed from a tour under these circumstances.

11. Passenger Conduct

Passengers are expected to behave respectfully towards fellow passengers, staff, venues, and property. Any damage caused by passengers may result in charges for cleaning, repair, or replacement. All passengers must wear seat belts whenever the vehicle is in motion, except where exempt under applicable law.

12. Children

Children are welcome on private tours where suitable. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising children at all times. Appropriate child restraints must be supplied and fitted in accordance with applicable Tasmanian legislation. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Boutique Wine Tours Tasmania’s liability for any claim arising from the supply of services is limited to:

  • Re-supplying the services; or
  • Paying the cost of having the services supplied again.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under Australian Consumer Law.

15. Travel Insurance

Passengers are strongly encouraged to obtain suitable travel insurance covering cancellation, personal injury, medical expenses, and loss or damage to personal property.

16. Photography

By participating in a tour, passengers consent to photographs being taken and used for promotional purposes unless they notify Boutique Wine Tours Tasmania before or during the tour that they do not wish to be photographed.

Where a tour cannot proceed due to a Force Majeure event, Boutique Wine Tours Tasmania may, at its discretion, offer passengers a credit, alternative date, alternative tour, or refund, less any unrecoverable third-party costs incurred on the passenger’s behalf.

18. No Show / Passenger Delays

Passengers who fail to attend their scheduled departure location at the designated time, or who are unavailable for collection after reasonable attempts have been made to contact them, will be considered a no-show. No refunds, credits, or rescheduling will be provided in these circumstances.

Passengers are responsible for returning to the vehicle at the times advised by the driver or tour host. Delays caused by passengers may result in reduced time at venues, changes to the itinerary, or the omission of scheduled stops. No refund or compensation will be payable in these circumstances.

19. Operator Cancellation

Boutique Wine Tours Tasmania reserves the right to cancel a tour due to safety concerns, vehicle breakdown, severe weather, insufficient passenger numbers, staff illness, or other circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
